Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data we collect, why, who processes it for us and the choices you have. It follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who is responsible
JAKEX CORPORATION PRIVATE LIMITED decides how your personal data on autosham is used and is responsible for it. You can reach our grievance officer through the Contact page.
What we collect
Your phone number, to sign you in and send the WhatsApp messages you agreed to.
Your resume and what is read from it, and your job preferences: the country and cities, a minimum salary and companies to skip.
Your reports and saved jobs.
Your mock interviews — the recording, transcript and feedback — only if you start one, after you agree to the recording.
Your payments: amount, date, the State you chose and masked payment details (never your full card, bank or UPI details).
Your consents — including your confirmation that you are 18 or older — with the date and the version of this notice you agreed to.
What you send us through Help, including screenshots, and technical data that keeps the service secure (a scrambled form of your IP address, your browser and phone type).
Why we use it
To find jobs that fit you, show your report, run your practice interviews and their feedback, take payments and issue GST invoices, keep the service secure, and answer your questions. We don't sell your data, we don't share your resume with employers, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
Railway hosts our servers, database and file storage (in Singapore).
Our AI job-search system reads your resume once to understand it, then searches for jobs with a profile that leaves out your name, e-mail and phone number. It uses third-party AI and job-board services to do this.
Our voice interview platform runs your practice interview. It receives your first name, the job title and the skills to ask about, reads your work history during the call, and records and transcribes the call so that we can give you feedback.
Meta delivers the WhatsApp messages: your sign-in codes and the messages you switched on. It sees your phone number and the message text.
Razorpay processes your payments.
Each of them processes your data only to provide the service to you.
Where it is processed
Your data is stored in Singapore. The providers above may process it in other countries, under safeguards that keep it protected.
How long we keep it
Your resume, reports and interviews until you delete them or your account, or after 3 years without use. Deleting your account removes them within 24 hours; our backups keep a copy for up to about a month.
The voice interview platform keeps its own copy of a practice call; we are working with it so that deleting an interview here also deletes that copy.
Payment records and GST invoices are kept for 8 years because tax law requires it, even after you delete your account — without your phone number.
Your rights
You can see and download your data, correct your name, delete your resume, interviews or whole account, withdraw consent for messages, and nominate someone to act for you. Most of this is in your profile; for anything else, contact us.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your settings, such as the theme. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Children
autosham is for people aged 18 or older. You confirm this when you upload your resume.
Complaints
Contact our grievance officer (see Contact); we acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes
We may update this notice. We will tell you about important changes before they apply.
Applying through Autosham Jobs

When you apply to a job through Autosham Jobs, you choose to share your resume with that company. We keep your application and show it to the company only once it has verified its page with us; until then no one at the company sees it.
The company sees your name, city and years of experience — taken from your account and your resume, which you can correct on the application — your resume, your mobile number, so it can call you or message you on WhatsApp about the job, and a match score that our AI works out from your resume and the job when you apply — to do that, our AI reads your resume if it hasn't already. The score is a guide to help the company read applications, not a decision; it is shown to the company, not in your applications, and it is in the copy of your data you can download. For an application sent before you could share your mobile number, the company sees it only if you choose to share it, and you can stop sharing it at any time.
You can also choose, for each application, to share your practice interview for that job — its score and feedback, its transcript, its voice recording — and you can stop sharing any of them at any time. Employers see a practice interview labelled as an AI practice interview, not a real interview.
Withdraw an application at any time in My applications: the company loses access to everything you shared at once. If the company has downloaded your resume before that, its own copy is its responsibility; ask the company directly to delete it.
A person on our team may open your application and the resume sent with it, only to deal with a problem you or the company raise with us or to check for misuse; each time is recorded.
We keep your application until you withdraw it or delete your account. We never sell your data and never share it with a company you did not apply to.
If you claim a company page, we use your name, role, work e-mail and the document you upload only to check that you can act for the company. A person on our team checks it; the document is kept privately and deleted 90 days after our decision.
